The User Action Log provides an audit trail of actions performed by users in Focus. The User Action Log can be searched by user or program.
1a. In SIS, in the Users menu, click User Action Log.
1b. In ERP, in the Setup menu, click User Action Log.
The By User tab is opened by default.
2. Enter search criteria to locate the user and click Search.
For example, enter the user's name, user's ID, or EIN in the User text box.

3. In the search results, click the appropriate user.
4. At the top of the screen, select the dates for the Report Timeframe using the pull-downs or calendar icons.
5. Click Update to refresh the report.
The actions the user performed during the defined time frame are displayed.

Column | Description |

Module | Displays the module the action was performed in. The module name displays in the URL after modname=. |
Modfunc | Displays the module function that was performed. The module function displays in the URL after modfunc=. |
Method | Displays GET if data was viewed and displays POST if data was changed. |
Visit Time | Displays the time the action took place. |
Student Name | Displays the name of the student involved in the action, if applicable. Note: If a student name is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen (the student record was not closed after viewing the student), the student name will display here even if the action did not involve that student. |
Staff Name | Displays the name of the user involved in the action, if applicable. Note: If a user name is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen (the user record was not closed after viewing the user), the user name will display here even if the action did not involve that user. |
School Name | Displays the school in which the action took place. |
School Year | Displays the school year in which the action took place. |
6. Click the row to view the User School, School Year, Marking Period, Student ID, Staff ID, IP Address, and Array.

2. Click the By Program tab.
The list of programs in Focus are organized by menu.
3. Click the program to view.
4. At the top of the screen, modify the Report Timeframe using the pull-downs or calendar icons.
5. Click Update to refresh the report.
The actions any user performed in the selected program during the defined time frame are displayed.

6. Click the row to view the user school ID, school year, marking period ID, student ID, staff ID, IP address, and the array.
