To correctly generate the Charter School Reports, the following fields must be set for the students via Students > Student Info > Enrollment:

• District Sending to Charter: Conditional for Charter Schools. Set the district code for districts who contract with the charter school to educate the student. 
• Charter Per Diem Rate: Conditional for Charter Schools. Enter the per diem rate for the student whose resident school district contract with the charter school to educate the student.
• Notification Form Sent to SD: Conditional for Charter Schools. Select the check box if the Notification Form has been sent to the student’s resident school district.

1. From the Pennsylvania Reports menu, click Summary Reconciliation Report.

2. Select the Reconciliation Timeframe using the month, day, and year pull-downs in the From and To sections. You can also click the calendar icon to select the dates.

3. Enter the Expenditures per ADM (Average Daily Membership); Enter the amounts from the PDE-363 Funding for Charter Schools, Calculation of Selected Expenditures per Average Daily Membership form using the following text boxes:

Non-special Education students

Special Education students

4. Click Print Report.

The report is generated as a PDF document and is automatically downloaded to your computer. If there are multiple sending districts, each district’s information prints on a separate page.

Fields in the report:

• Total Number of Students that are non-special education and special education.
• Aggregate Days Membership: This is a computed field for the number of students, using the timeframe set and the students’ enrollment and Special Education logging fields.
• Charter School Days in Session: This is pulled from the Attendance Calendar using the timeframe set.
• Average Daily Membership: Computed by dividing the aggregate days membership by the charter school days in session, limiting the result to three digits after the decimal. 
• Selected Expenditures per ADM  are entered in the setup for the report. 
• Total Amount Due for [2020-2021] School Year: Computed field. Average Daily Membership multiplied by selected Expenditures per ADM rounded to the nearest penny.
