Seating Charts
Updated onArticleThe Seating Charts feature allows teachers to create a seating chart for each class section, which includes students' names, students' pictures, desks, other furniture present in the classroom such as tables, the American flag, and more. Once setup, teachers can use the seating chart to take attendance and award positive behaviors. Multiple seating charts can be created to reflect different layouts.

Attended Hours Report
Updated onArticleThe Attended Hours Report allows users to review students' hours scheduled, hours attended and hourly attendance percentage broken down by program and section, as well as a specified timeframe.

Web Pages
Updated onArticleWeb Pages allows teachers to create web pages that can be viewed by parents and students on the Portal, in the Community App, as well as the Calendar screen. Web pages are built using News (posts), Units & Lessons via the Lesson Planner, Resources, and Settings. Posts can be sent to parents only, students only, or by default to all (parents and students). For resources, teachers can create files, links, and folders. In settings, the web page is enabled by default when created, but can be disabled. Teachers can assign web pages to their sections. Only one web page can be assigned per section. In addition, teachers can create units and linked lessons based on the Lesson Planning module, which can then be edited from Web Pages including descriptions, linked assignments, linked resources, attached standards, and more.

Gradebook Reports
Updated onArticleThe Reports screen allows teachers to run various reports, such as Missing Grades, Failing Grades, Extra Credit Grades, Highlighted Grades, Excused Grades, Custom Grades, and more, where grades can be reviewed and edited as needed.

Calendar
Updated onArticleThe Calendar screen allows you to create and manage a personal calendar in Focus. You can add one-time or recurring events to your calendar, and share events with your sections. You can also view events shared with you by other staff members. Additionally, you can define blocks of time you are available to meet with parents for conferences. You can request a conference with a parent, after which the parent will select the meeting date and time from the your availability. You can then approve or deny the request. Parents and students can also directly request a conference with you.

Attendance Chart
Updated onArticleThe Attendance Chart makes it possible to review and edit students’ attendance records. Teachers can set a date range for which to view attendance. Teachers have the option to review all students, a specific student, or a defined subset of students indicated by the More Search Options feature. In addition to reviewing and editing students’ attendance data, teachers can also export, print, and filter listed data.

District Assessments
Updated onArticleAssessments that have been marked by an administrator as a "District Assessment" are available on the District Assessments screen. Assessments you have created are available on the Teacher Assessments screen. The Assign tab of the District Assessments screen allows you to assign school or district assessments to students. Assessments are assigned to students by course. The assessment score can be used as the student's exam grade for the selected marking period, or the assessment can be used for non-grade purposes. A link to the assessment will display in the Alerts block on the Student Portal during the start and end dates/times defined. The Bubble Sheets tab allows you to print bubble sheets for students who will taking the assessment outside of Focus. Completed bubble sheets can be uploaded from this screen and scores populated into the Gradebook or for the student's exam grade. The Scaling tab is used to change the grading scale of an assessment. The Answer Key tab is used to set options for answer key only assessments. The Reports tab provides several reports for you to review after an assessment is taken. The Options tab allows you to push assessment scores to each student's Test History. It also allows users with the "Re-Score Assessment" profile permission to re-score assessments if an item has been changed or removed from the assessment.

PMP Data Collection
Updated onArticleThe PMP Data Collection screen is used to record attendance for interventions and enter data points for Academic or Behavior PMPs. Attendance and data points can be added for one or multiple students. When data points are added and saved on this screen, the student's individual PMP is updated.
