Detention List
Updated onArticleStudents assigned a discipline referral for a detention through the tardy tracking functionality will display on the Detention List. The scheduled job "Create Detentions from Tardies" will also create detentions based on tardy thresholds for tardies entered manually by teachers or office staff. Students who receive a non-tardy detention will display on the Detention List, as well. Students who have served their detention can be marked as Completed, which will update the action logging field on the referral. The Action Record Notes will update with the date(s) the detention(s) were served. The Days Completed will increment by 1 for each day of detention that was completed. The Date Begins and Date Ends will also be updated based on the date(s) the detention was served.

Alerts
Updated onArticleThe Alerts screen displays alerts that have been generated specifically for you or for your profile. Alerts can be triggered by a particular form in an event being saved or by a particular value being selected on a field within a form. You may also receive a notification email for an alert. Alert triggers are set up in SSS > Setup > Alert Triggers tab. Event triggers set up in SSS > Setup > Event Triggers may also generate alerts.

Request Grade Changes
Updated onArticleThe Request Grade Changes screen allows teachers to request changes to report card grades after the grade-posting window has closed. Once the grade change is requested, an administrator must approve or deny the request. The grade will update once the request is approved. Teachers can view the status of the request on the Request Grade Changes screen.

Attendance Verification / Sub Rosters
Updated onArticleThe Attendance Verification screen gives teachers the ability to confirm, print, and verify (sign) attendance, which can be a great asset for auditing purposes and state reporting. In addition, the same sheets can be transformed into a roster for a substitute to easily take attendance.
