Leaves
Updated onArticleThe Leaves screen allows users to review all extended leave submitted during the selected fiscal year, make changes, add notes, add manual leave entries, import leave entries, and mark as reviewed by each valid department, such as Payroll or HR.

Title I Eligibility
Updated onArticleThe Title I Eligibility screen is used to search for a student's zoned school, view the school's Title I status, and proceed with enrolling the student. After entering the student's address, grade level, and birth date, the student's zoned school will display, with an indication of whether the school is an eligible Title I school or is ineligible, based on the Title 1 check box in School Information. An Enroll button is displayed for an eligible Title I school for users with the Edit permission to the Add a Student screen. The student must be 5 to 18 years old as of September 1 in the current school year for the Enroll button to be available.

Uploaded Files Report
Updated onArticleThe Uploaded Files Report is used to search for files that have been uploaded to any student field with the type of File Upload. Users can search based on date range, uploader, student, student field, and file text. Files can be selected and exported to a zip file or to PDF.

Progression Plan (Setup)
Updated onArticleThe Progression Plan screen is used to set up progression plans for programs at specific schools, or to set up district-wide progression plans. Progression plans are often used for academies or magnet programs, or to track endorsements (Texas). Progression plans help track students' progress by grade level to ensure they have taken the required courses for graduation. Progression plans can be used to automate the course request process.

Grading Scales & Comments
Updated onArticleThe Grading Scales & Comments screen is used to create the grading scales for the school, as well as set up the report card comments teachers can use to post short comments or pull-down comments for report cards. Grading scales determine the GPA value of each grade as well as if the grade receives credit. Multiple grading scales can be set up for the school to accommodate different grading needs, such as unweighted, honors, AP, pass/fail, etc. Each section is assigned a grading scale and a standards grading scale in Courses & Sections. If your school allows teachers to request grade changes via the Request Grade Changes screen, and a reason code is required when requesting a grade change ("Enable reason code for grade change" system preference), you can create customized reason codes in the Grade Change Request Reasons tab. Focus also provides several hard-coded reason codes. If your school has enabled the ability to Use Proficiency Gradebook via Setup > System Preferences > School Preferences/Default School Preferences > Grading tab and elected that the Proficiency Gradebook be based on grading scales, you will have the ability to apply the Proficiency Gradebook to select grading scales from the Grading Scale tab.

Master Schedule Snapshots
Updated onArticleThe Master Schedule Snapshots screen is used to restore the master schedule and student schedules using system backups, backups created when importing sections in the Master Schedule Builder, or manually created backups. System backups are created automatically based on the scheduled job "Master Schedule Snapshots." This is set to run every hour but can be modified as needed. Backups can also be created when importing sections in the Master Schedule Builder. Manual backups can be created as needed. Hourly system backups are saved for 24 hours. Daily system backups are saved for 2 weeks. Manual backups are saved for 12 months. Backups created when importing sections in the Master Schedule Builder are not removed.

FAS Tests
Updated onArticleFAS (Focus Assessment System) Tests houses all tests created and published by all users via Focus's LMS (Learning Management System) via the Grades menu (for teachers) or Assessment menu (for administrators). Using FAS Tests users are able to review and edit created tests all from one screen.
