Background Tables

The Background Tables screen is used to view the data stored in the background tables. These tables are used in various state reporting processes.

Viewing the Background Tables

1. In the Missouri Reports menu, click Background Tables.

2. In the panel on the left side of the screen, click the table you want to view, Missouri Code Sets or Missouri Schools.

3. Click the X on the panel to collapse it and view the report full screen.

4. Click the blue arrow to re-display the panel.

5. Use the Prev and Next buttons above the table to navigate through the pages of the report. To jump to a specific page, enter the Page number and press Enter.

6. To export the report to CSV/Excel, click the Excel icon.

The file will download to your computer.

7. To print the report, click the Printer icon and follow your printer's prompts.

8. To enable the filters, click the Filter button so that it displays ON.

9. Enter the filter text in the text box above the column.

10. Click the down arrow to access additional filter options.

11. Click the green plus icon to add an additional filter to a column. Click the red minus icon to remove a filter.

12. To turn ofF the filters, click the Filter button so that it displays OFF.

13. Click a column header to sort the table by that column. Click once for ascending results; click again for descending results.

Missouri Code Sets

The Missouri Code Sets table includes the ID, SYEAR, CODE_SET, OPTION_NAME, DEFAULT_CODE, OPTION_DEFINITION, RANK, EFFECTIVE_DATE, EXPIRATION_DATE, and LAST_MODIFIED.

Missouri Schools

The Missouri Schools table includes the ID, COUNTY, DISTRICT_NUM, DISTRICT_TITLE, SCHOOL_NUM, SCHOOL_TITLE, GRADE_LOW, and GRADE_HIGH.
