Once entered, users can review the immunization compliance section, which is generated based on student records and system preferences set up to determine compliance.

Searching for Students
Updated onArticleFocus provides several ways for schools and districts to search for students, both individually and by specified search criteria. The Student Search module appears on many screens throughout Focus, and includes three submenus: Search Screen, Simple List, and Customized List. This documentation provides information on the student search screen, including the student search bar, More Search Options, Student Groups, and how to save and use saved searches (when using the new search feature). The Simple List provides a comprehensive list of all students or the results from the Search Screen, and the Customized List can be set up in My Preferences to display selected students. Teachers can customize the student list via Preferences.

Gradebook: Gradebook Templates (Teacher Programs)
Updated onArticleIf the district has applied Gradebook templates to all courses at the school or for particular courses, the template may populate assignment categories as well as specific assignments into the Gradebook. The district may allow or restrict teachers from adding additional categories and assignments into the Gradebook, and may allow or restrict teachers from modifying and deleting the categories and assignments populated in the Gradebook. The district may allow or restrict teachers from adding additional standards to assignments, and may allow or restrict teachers from removing standards from assignments that were populated by the template. Administrators who accesses a teacher's Gradebook in the Gradebook teacher program have the same restrictions as teachers, but may detach a category from the template, or detach all categories at once.

Permissions can be given to teachers to add additional categories and assignments and modify the categories and assignments included in the template. Permissions can also be given to teachers to add additional standards to assignments and remove standards from assignments included in the template.

Verification Sheets/Sub Rosters
Updated onArticleThe Verification Sheets feature gives admin and teachers the ability to confirm, print, and verify (sign) attendance, which can be a great asset for auditing purposes and state reporting. In addition, the same sheets can be transformed into a roster for a substitute to easily take attendance.

Master Schedule Report
Updated onArticleThe Master Schedule Report provides a complete overview of the courses and sections that make up the school's master schedule. Edits to course and section fields can be made directly on the report, and the Mass Update feature can be used to make edits to multiple courses and sections. Customized versions of the Master Schedule Report can be created by applying filters and saving that version of the report.
