The TREx screen is used to electronically generate a file of student data. The transcript can be downloaded in an XML file or printed as a PDF.

Generating TREx Export

1. In the Texas Reports menu, click TREx.

2. On the Student Search screen, enter search criteria to locate the student and click Search.

See Searching for Students for more information about the various ways to search for students.

3. In the search results, click the appropriate student to view the TREx data.

The student's TREx data is displayed in a new window for review.

4. To export the XML file, click Export Transcript at the top of the window.

The XML file is downloaded to your computer.

5. To generate a PDF of the file for printing, click Print at the top of the window.

The PDF is opened in a new tab or window. It can be saved to your computer or printed.

TREx data for one or multiple students can be exported to XML directly from the search results screen by selecting the check box next to each student and clicking Export Selected.

Generating TREx Export from Student Info

The TREx export can be generated directly from the Student Info screen for the student that is being viewed.

1. In the Students menu, click Student Info.

2. On the Search Screen, enter search criteria to locate the student and click Search.

3. In the search results, click the appropriate student.

4. At the top of the student's record, click TREx Export.

The TREx data is displayed on the screen.

5. To export the XML file, click Export Transcript at the top of the window.

The XML file is downloaded to your computer.

6. To generate a PDF of the file for printing, click Print at the top of the window.

The PDF is opened in a new tab or window. It can be saved to your computer or printed.
