The Schedule of Services Setup screen allows the district to customize the headers, field titles, and field options that display within the Schedules of Services step in the IEP event. Ensure the profiles who need view or edit access to this screen are given the proper permissions in Setup > Profiles.
The preferences enabled in SSS > General > Schedule of Services tab may affect the options available on the Schedule of Services Setup screen, as well as the Schedule of Services step in the IEP event.
The Service Types tab allows the district to customize the titles of the service types instead of using the default titles (Instructional Services, Related Services, Supplementary Aids and Services, and Support Services for School Personnel).
1. In the SSS menu, click Schedule of Services Setup.
The Service Types tab is opened by default.
2. For each of the listed service types, enter a Custom Title, if desired.
3. Click Save when finished.
The Instructional Services tab allows the district to customize the field titles and options for the Instructional Services section of the Schedule of Services step.
1. In the SSS menu, click Schedule of Services Setup.
2. Click the Instructional Services tab.
3. To customize the title of a field, enter text in the Custom Title column.
4. To customize the options for a field that has select options, click the Options box.
A pop-up window of the options is displayed.
5. To add a new option, enter the Name in the blank row. Optionally, enter the Sort Order, Minimum Year, and Maximum Year. The minimum and maximum year determine when the option is available for use.
6. Click Save.
7. To edit an option, update the Name, Sort Order, Minimum Year, or Maximum Year as needed.
8. Click Save.
9. To delete an option, click the red minus sign next to the option.
10. In the confirmation message, click OK.
11. Click Save to complete deletion.
12. When finished updating options, click Close.
13. To disable a field from displaying in the Instructional Services section of the Schedule of Services step, deselect the Enabled check box.
14. Click Save.
The Supplementary Aids and Services tab allows the district to customize the field titles and options for the Supplementary Aids and Services section of the Schedule of Services step.
1. In the SSS menu, click Schedule of Services Setup.
2. Click the Supplementary Aids and Services tab.
3. To customize the title of a field, enter text in the Custom Title column.
4. To customize the options for a field that has select options, click the Options box.
A pop-up window of the options is displayed.
5. To add a new option, enter the Name in the blank row. Optionally, enter the Sort Order, Minimum Year, and Maximum Year. The minimum and maximum year determine when the option is available for use.
6. Click Save.
