Currently when we get the zoned school for an application we are not restricting by min and max year in the grade level table which causes the wrong school to be selected. This branch fixes this by only getting records where the enrollment year is between the min and max years.

FOCUS-33261- Correct Honor Roll Setup when GPA is set to 0

Currently if the minimum GPA for an honor roll is set to 0 and the student's GPA is null then that student was not appearing in the list of students that are on the honor roll. This branch corrects this issue.

FOCUS-33243- Expanding Custom Script Options

This branch allows for JavaScript and stylesheets from googleapis.com (example: Google Translate) to be added to System Preferences > Default School Preferences > General > Custom Scripts.

FOCUS-33228- Show all selected schools for pie charts in Student Breakdown

When running the student breakdown report, selecting the pie chart tab filters students to the current school in the top right rather than the selected schools. This branch correct that issue.

FOCUS-33213- School Choice: New Preference Ignore School Choice Restrictions

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice add-one module. This enhancement adds a new enrollment preference titled Ignore School Choice Restrictions. When enabled the system will no longer present the "Choice School" validation on enrollment, meaning an end-user will be able to adjust a student's enrollment regardless of their choice assignment for that school year.

FOCUS-33191- Adds ability to hide Quarters from Grade Change Requests

This new feature adds the system preference Hide Quarters from Grade Change Form, located under the grading sub-menu. When selected, quarters will not appear in the Term dropdown when creating or editing a Grade Change Request.

FOCUS-33182- Individual Parse Address Insert Next Year Zoned Info

Only applicable for customers leveraging address validation through an Address Catalog. Focus will now insert student's zoned school information into address_zoned_schools for the default school year and next school year when a new student is added or existing student's address is changed. A next school year entry will only be inserted if the Address Catalog has been populated or rolled into the next school year.

FOCUS-33092- Push Update All Button on Fee Templates

A new option called "Push update All" has been added to Manage District Fee Templates. When selected, the feature will push any changes made to the fee template to all the programs/ courses listed. This would be used by customers if the change made to the selected fee needed to be pushed to all options in that area. Permission to this button is controlled by the Update District Template permission.

FOCUS-33066- School Choice: Magnet/Special Assignment new Admin File Upload area

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice add-on module. This enhancements makes two changes to the Magnet/ Special Assignment screen. 1) The applying grade level will now default to the student's gradelevel based upon the school year selected. An applying grade level is now also a required field. 2) A new admin only file upload area is now available on individual choice entries on the Magnet/ Special Assignment screen.

FOCUS-33014- Ensure Profile is established when adding new Students

In the event that an end-user clicked "reset" before searching and adding a new student through Add a Student, the student was added without a student profile. This branch corrects this issue.

FOCUS-32900- Added new preference prevent Online Applications for inactive students in the district

This enhancement adds a new Online Application preference titled Prevent Online Applications for inactive students in the district. When enabled, this preference will follow the same logic as the current system preference for actively enrolled students. A Parent will receive a Duplicate Prevention restriction notification for their inactive student if the first name, last name, and birthdate already match a student on file.

FOCUS-32872- School Choice: Add Choice to Student Audit Trail

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice add-on module. This enhancements adds a new report to the Student Audit Trail that will track any choice application submissions or changes to a student's school choice record.

FOCUS-32676- Find My School - Add School Description Field

Only applicable for customers leveraging an Address Catalog. This feature adds a new system school field titled School Description. When this field is populated, the entered text will appear next to the school in the /find-my-school utility. Please note the field will be installed without a category or profile assignment. To see this field you must navigate to Setup > School Fields and attach the field to your desired school category and assign applicable profile access.

FOCUS-32658- Changes pop-out window when clicking links to open in new tab in browser

Previously, when clicking the links on the Teacher Schedules Report, Request Reports, Builder Reports, Loading Reports, and the student's name in an Advanced Report, the link would open into a pop-out window. This branch changes this functionality so the link opens in a new tab in the end-users browser.

FOCUS-32429- Graduation Requirements Report: When Future Scheduled Courses pref. enabled, courses appear twice on report

This branch fixes an issue with the Grading System Preference 'Include Future Classes as Enrolled in Graduation Requirements Report'. Previously when this preference was selected a completed course would unexpectedly show as enrolled in electives.

FOCUS-32268- School Choice: Allow combined priorities preferences on Priority Chart Rankings

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice add-on module. This feature modifies the priority chart setup area. Now, priority charts can be established by combining existing preferences.

FOCUS-32228- School Choice - Prioritize programs when running the lottery

Only applicable to customers using the School Choice add-on module. This enhancement adds a new checkbox column, 'Run First', to School Choice Setup > Programs. Programs that are flagged as 'Run First' programs will be run first in the school choice lottery. Only after the Run First programs are placed, the regular lottery runs automatically and places all remaining students.

FOCUS-32127- Hope showing .5 on Graduation Requirements Report when it is a Full Year Course

This branch corrects an issue where the Graduation Requirements report was displaying a .5 credit remaining instead of 1.0 when the Personal Fitness system reference is enabled.

FOCUS-31734- School Choice: Sibling Guarantee Preference (Placing Siblings Together in the Lottery)

Only applicable to customers using the School Choice add-on module. This enhancement adds a new built-in priority preference option titled Sibling Guarantee. If the applying student has a sibling in the Linked Siblings logging field and the sibling also has a School Choice Application at the same applying school/year, the applying student would get the Sibling Guarantee priority. When running the lottery, this priority is taken into consideration and the students must be accepted into the same school upon lottery completion. FOCUS-29780- School Choice: Evaluate Placement (Individual Student Lottery)

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice add-on module. This enhancement adds a shortcut called 'Choice' on Student Info that will direct the end-user to the Magnet/Special Assignment screen. A new feature titled 'Evaluate Placement' has been added. When clicked, the end-user will be presented with all programs the student is eligible for (based upon gradelevel, zoning, ese, etc. restrictions) and can run a singular lottery to place the student and optionally, any siblings to the desired programs based upon capacity, choice and preference. The feature is only accessible to end-users that have edit access to the Magnet/Special Assignment, App Type screen.
