This branch fixes an issue using weekday rotation that causes an error to be displayed in Take Attendance when the bell schedule has no "length" set up.

FOCUS-34556- Parent Portal Registration - Allowed tying alphanumeric characters for Student Id field

This branch corrects an issue where parents could not enter an alpha character in the student ID field when registering for their parent portal account when the customer had the appropriate $_FOCUS['config']['alpha_custom_student_number'] config settings.

FOCUS-34523- The "Include inactive students" checkbox does not affect the "Blank Gradebook" report.

Before this resolution, teachers could not print the Blank Gradebook Report because their student's enrollments for the 2022-2023 school year were in the future. Future active students are considered inactive in this report. With this branch, if the teacher has the Include Inactive setting checked on the Missing Grades Report, the Blank Grades Report can be generated with inactive students.

FOCUS-34514- Missing Icon on Portal for ISP Page when logged in as a student

This branch resolves an issue where the Student Portal was not displaying the ISP icon as expected.

FOCUS-34511- Elementary Scheduler: Cannot Schedule with Teacher

Only applicable for self-hosted MSSQL customers. This resolution fixes an issue where a database error was being thrown in the Elementary Scheduler when using the feature to not schedule a student with a specific teacher.

FOCUS-34503- School Choice Application: Notes are being displayed for the current grade rather than for the projected grade

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice Module. This branch resolves an issue where the Application Notes on the School Choice Application were not displaying as expected based upon the student's projected gradelevel.

FOCUS-34484- Print Student Badges: When printing student badges quotes in the name display unexpected characters.

This branch ensures that Print ID Badges prints the desired student name when that name contains quotes.

FOCUS-34479- School Choice: Move customized settings to the preferences

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice Module. This branch adds three new options under School Choice Setup -> Customize Application -> Preferences which will allow districts to show/hide "Gifted" and "ESE Status" cells on the student school choice application and to change a label for the Neighborhood school cell.

1) Display Gifted on the application? This is a checkbox preference that will be turned on by default.

2) Display ESE Status on the application? This is a checkbox preference that will be turned on by default.

3) Neighborhood School Label. This is a text box. By default, it will be displayed as Neighborhood.

The branch includes a migration to migrate any customer-specific settings that were hard-coded into the School Choice Application program.

FOCUS-34469- Marking an Automated Emails scheduled job as failed when it cannot send one or more emails

This enhancement adds a 'Mark the job as failed when there is an error on one or more emails' button on the built-in Scheduled Job Automated Emails. When checked, the job will be marked as failed when there is an error on one or more emails.

FOCUS-34466- Teacher WebPages: 'Back to My Web Pages' Not Working

This branch corrects an issue where teachers who created a webpage were not redirected back to the webpage when they clicked the button called "Back to My Web Pages."

FOCUS-34459- Graduation Requirements Fields not calculating credits correctly.

This branch resolves an issue with the Graduation Requirement fields; credits earned and remaining were not displaying correctly on a letterhead. The issue existed for those schools/districts using these fields on a letterhead template rather than the Graduation Requirement option on a Transcript.

FOCUS-34453- School Choice: Evaluate Placement - Accepting students with no seats available

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice Module. Currently, if two Users click the 'Accept' button on the Placement Preview popup at nearly the same time for a program that only has 1 seat remaining (same syear, same grade at the same program at the same school), then both students may successfully be accepted, unintentionally causing the program to be over-enrolled. This branch eliminates this over-enrollment issue.

FOCUS-34423- Request Grade Change - allow hiding of Progress Period options

Currently, In Grades > Request Grade Changes, districts can hide years/semesters and quarters from the term dropdown of the screen if specific preferences are set. This enhancement adds a new preference to hide progress period terms. The preference is located on the System Preferences > Grading sub-tab titled Hide Progress Periods from Grade Change Form. It will be installed in the off position to maintain current functionality.

FOCUS-34414- Graduation Requirements GPA isn't accurately matching with Course History

If a student has a GPA in the student_gpa_calculated table for a future school year, that is the GPA that will display on the Graduation Requirements Report. But, the student Final Grades screen displays the student's GPA from the session school year. This branch adjusts the Graduation Requirements Report logic to display a student's GPA based upon the session school year.

FOCUS-34393- School Choice: Updating Zone Group on Setup caused Empty Strings

Only applicable for customers using the School Choice module. This branch prevents empty strings from being added to school_choice_programs.zone_groups when an end-user manually removes a Zone Group from a program through the School Choice Setup screen.

FOCUS-34369- Unable to delete standard subject due to there being grade records in previous years.

Focus will prevent end-users from deleting a standard if that standard is tied to a gradebook assignment or grade record. This branch corrects an issue where the constraint prevented the deletion of a standard that did not have a grade or gradebook assignments tied to it in the future school year.

FOCUS-34358- Profile Permission to hide 'Credits' from student schedule

This enhancement adds profile permission under Schedule Fields, which will hide 'Credits' from the student schedule when the 'Use Individual Schedule Field Permissions' system preference is turned on, and the user does not Schedule Fields credit view permissions.

FOCUS-34348- PK tab not showing in Elementary Scheduler

Currently, the PK tab would only display within the Elementary Scheduler if the gradelevel configuration at that school had the setting "Students can roll into this grade level" checked for the PK gradelevel. This branch removes this condition.

FOCUS-34277- Incorrect report card comment codes

"Use data from the most recent term if there is no grade in the term selected" can cause fallback data when it should not be used if there is data for more than one section of the course.

FOCUS-34208- EIN / local ID in User Search

This enhancement allows end-users to search on a User Local ID or EIN in basic user searches. Before this branch only the staff ID or user name could be used when searching.

FOCUS-34007- Prevent Elementary Scheduler Duplicates on Load

When the Elementary Scheduler page is loaded for the first time, it creates records for each student in the database. If two users load the page at the same time, there is a chance that duplicate records can be created. This branch prevents that edge case.
