Documentation for Parents/Students

Wallet

Updated on

The Wallet screen is specifically designed for Purchase & Pay customers. This screen allows both parents and students to securely store credit card information within their Wallet, facilitating a smoother and more efficient checkout process.

This screen also houses the Auto Pay option for items in the Product List. When an invoiced item has been designated for Auto Pay, and the parent or student has a saved credit card also marked for Auto Pay, the system will automatically process the payment using the saved card on the invoice's due date.

Credit Card information is sent and stored in Authorize.net while Focus has an ID for the wallet card that is referenced when sending the request for Authorize.net to process the payment. Authorize.net securely stores the card data and Focus displays only the last 4 digits on the card as well as the expiration date.
