FOCUS-43906- Communication Platform: Improve Communication Replies from an Admin to Student

Previously, if an admin replied to a student in the inbox, the email would not be sent and would show as an error in the inbox. Additionally, the communication reports would indicate that there was no email address. With this update, emails will be sent as expected when an admin replies to a student.

FOCUS-43833- Scheduling: Resolve Error in Master Schedule Report Caused by Empty Strings (Ohio)

This update resolves an error that occurred when attempting to change a value via the Master Schedule Report for customers in Ohio. Previously, if the Dual Enrollment Credit database value was an empty string, an error would be presented to the end-user when changing it. This update fixes the issue, ensuring changes can be made without errors.

FOCUS-43808- Student Audit Trail: Resolve Error with Date Range on Address Report

This update resolves an error in the Students Audit Trail, specifically in the Address report, that occurred when the end-user modified the date range. The issue has been fixed to ensure the report functions correctly when adjusting the date range.

FOCUS-43793- Student Portal: Resolve Assignments Displayed with Include Inactive Courses

Currently, when students attempt to view assignments from previous years, they receive an error message stating, "Error: Student is not scheduled in any courses," even if the "include inactive courses" checkbox is checked. This update resolves the issue by ensuring the "include inactive courses" checkbox is considered when creating the link, allowing students to view assignments for inactive courses without encountering an error.

FOCUS-43761- Advanced Report: Don't Display Records with form_record_id for non Form Record Logging Fields

Previously, logging fields in Advanced Report that were once forms records but are now turned off would still show logged fields with a form_record_id. This update changes the Advanced Report to prevent this from happening, mimicking the logic used for logging fields that appear on the Student Info screen.

FOCUS-43739- Communication Platform: Template Migration to Populate Missing District ID Database Value

This update includes a migration that corrects any template whose corresponding communication_message record lacks a district ID. The migration will add the district ID from the template to ensure consistency and proper association.

FOCUS-43731- Mass Requests: Improve Course Name Display when Searching by Course

When searching for students with Course Request the requested title of the course that appears is incorrect and will show an old course name. This JIRA fixes it so it only looks at the selected year for the course titles.

FOCUS-43639- Custom Fields: New Rich Text Option for Computed Fields

This feature enhancement adds support for Rich Text on Computed Fields configured in Custom Fields. When enabled, the computed field's generated value will support HTML, providing customers with greater flexibility in configuring and displaying computed fields through the interface.

FOCUS-43493- Pull Grades for Report Cards: New Setting "Do not Create Grade if Child Marking Period Grade Missing"

This update introduces a new option on the Pull Grades for Report Cards called "Do not create grade if a child marking period grade is missing." When leveraged the pull grades process will omit adding a grade when a child marking period is missing a grade. A child marking period's definition does not include Exams, which will still be determined by the Grade Posting Averaging setting. This option applies only when pulling a semester or full year grade. If the option is not selected, the grade will pull as it currently does.

FOCUS-43477- Edit Rules & Workflow: Improve Validation Behavior on Add a Student (Criteria Spanning Both Student and Enrollment Fields)

This update improves the Edit Rules & Workflow validation for criteria that span both Student Enrollment Fields and Demographic Fields, applicable to the Add a Student process. The validation will no longer prevent end-users from navigating between the second and third pages of the Add a Student process if the validation prevents saving. This allows end-users to meet the validation requirements by marking the applicable student enrollment or student field value when adding a student.

FOCUS-43442- Scheduling: Resolve Race Conditions Logic in Elementary Scheduler

This update resolves an issue in the Elementary Scheduler where refreshing the site would cause the race values of students to change, as they were being assigned a random race. The race values will now remain consistent upon refreshing.

FOCUS-43264- Communication Platform: New Warning Message when Sending Messages Within Call Windows

This enhancement adds a new warning message for end-users attempting to send a message through the Communication Platform outside of the organization's defined Call Windows. When an end-user tries to send a non-emergency SMS or Call during block out times, a warning message will be displayed, informing them that their message will be sent after the block out times end.

FOCUS-43612- SSS: Resolve EWS Bulk Population to PMP Data Collection

Previously, SSS events created through the EWS report BulkPMPTrigger were not populated in the PMP Data Collection screen. With this update, SSS events created through the EWS report BulkPMPTrigger are now correctly populated in the PMP Data Collection screen as expected.

FOCUS-43508- SSS: Improve Merging PMP Records when Merging 2 Students

Previously, PMP records were not updated in the database after merging students. With this update, PMP records are now correctly updated in the database as expected after merging students.

FOCUS-42103- SSS: New Schedule of Services Setup Enhancement

This update introduces a new Schedule of Services Setup screen in SSS, making all options configurable. Profile permissions will be disabled by default to maintain existing functionality. This new feature allows greater flexibility for customers to customize the Schedule of Services Setup screen according to their organizations preferences.
