The Missing Children Report compares a file on NWRDC of missing children to students enrolled in the current school year and returns a file containing any matches from the original file. An internal process filters the results to potential matches, and then provides the student record form the original NWRDC file above the record in Focus that matches for that student.
1. From the Florida Reports menu, click Missing Children Report.
The missing children report is automatically generated each month. FLDOE notifies districts when the file F60544 is available, so you can run the report and select the check boxes in the Control Number column to select the corresponding student information to be exported, etc.
2. An internal process filters the results to potential matches, and then provides the student record form the original NWRDC file above the record in Focus that matches for that student. The user is then able to confirm the match with the check box on the left and download a file of matches. Select the students, then click Matched File to complete the process.
Clicking Matched File generates a txt file, which will be automatically downloaded to your computer.
3. To download and save the Missing Children Report, click the Export to CSV button.
