System improvement to depreciation allocations, when system setting requiring depreciation allocation is set, and no depreciation allocation is identified on the asset, the user will receive and alert. Depreciation will be halted until the deprecation allocation is corrected.

FOCUS-38261- Scheduling: Copy all applicable Period Options in Section

This branch ensures that when copying sections, the entirety of the parent's sections periods is copied to the child section. This issue only occurred in configurations with the system preference of "Sections can have multiple non-consecutive periods" enabled.

FOCUS-38235- Hide Effective Date for FCAT/FSA ELA Depending on FL District Option

Only applicable to Florida State Reporting customers. SB 1108 allows students who have been enrolled in an ESOL program for less than 2 years eligible to meet the ELA graduation assessment requirements with an alternative pathway. The two years are based on the last day of the school year. This branch updates the built-in scheduled job Process Assessments to only display the effective date picker when the Florida Reports Setup, District Options "Default Effective Date" is set to "No Default Effective Date."

FOCUS-37995- Attendance: New Portal Alert for Excuse Notes Inactive Students

This enhancement adds a new Portal Alert for Excuse Notes indicating the number of notes needing to be processed for Inactive Students. When clicked, the end user is directed to Absence Summary for processing.

FOCUS-37983- Communication Platform: Support for Reply To in Email to Inbox

This enhancement adds support for responses to messages from the Communication Platform via email to be tracked in the centralized inbox for end users. When allowing students/parents to reply to is enabled in the message, email responses will be sent to a centralized [email protected], which will ensure the response is tracked in the appropriate inbox.

This enhancement adds a new system preference under enrollment titled "Contact Required." When enabled, end-users would be required to enter a contact when adding a new student through Add a Student. The preference will be installed in the off position to maintain existing functionality.

FOCUS-37670- Form Builder: New Rich Text on Text area Components

This enhancement adds an option for rich text input on text area components in Formbuilder. When enabled, the user can input rich text and upload images that will be printed in line with the rest of the form. The new functionality will default to disabled.

FOCUS-37476- School Choice: Add 'ESE' / 'Spec. Ed.' column to School Choice Reports

Only applicable to customers using School Choice. This enhancement adds a new column to the School Choice Report to display the student's applicable ESE/Spec Ed Code.

FOCUS-35345- Scheduling: Updated Minutes for Pull-Outs (FL)

Only applicable to customers using Florida State Reporting. This branch ensures when adding a pull-out section to the student schedule either individually or through Mass Add Course, the minutes from a pull-out section will be subtracted from the minutes of the core course that is also scheduled into the same period. Please note that adding the minutes back to the primary section if the pull-out section is dropped either individually or en masse is not currently supported.

FOCUS-36187- Gradebook: New System Preferences

This enhancement adds five (5) new gradebook-related System Preferences:

1) Round Assignment Grades to X Decimal Places: This setting allows customers to select between 0 to 9 decimal places for assignment rounding. The default will be 2.

2) Custom Name for "Points" Entry: This text field allows customers to customize the terminology Focus will use for "Points." The default will be "Points"; however, if the customer changes the setting, that text will replace all instances of "Points" in the Focus Gradebook.

3) Custom Name for "Letter Grade" Entry: This text field allows customers to customize the terminology Focus will use for "Letter Grade." The default will be "Points"; however, if the customer changes that text will replace all instances of "Letter Grade" in the Focus Gradebook.

4) Grades are Entered By: Options include Allow teachers to select, Points, Percentage, or Letter Grades. This setting gives customers better control over what entries are allowable by a school in the Gradebook.

5) Prevent Saving Gradebook Grades Below Minimum (zeroes still permitted): This setting works in conjunction with the minimum percentage for gradebook grade preference and allows the district, by school, to define a minimum entry for teachers per gradebook assignment. Please note this does not eliminate a teacher from entering a 0 or NA.

This fix addresses an issue with supplemental forms with parent signable signatures not being saved and error displays.

FOCUS-38341- Users may be able to edit PMP steps if they don't have permission to edit

This fix addresses an issue when a user has view but does not have edit permissions to SSS PMP Events, the user still is able to edit the custom PMP screens.

FOCUS-38147- Clones of step that used "Mark as Complete" still show as complete

This fix addresses an issue when the "Mark as Complete" button is used in testing. The cloned steps display as complete. Cloned steps should always show as incomplete.

FOCUS-38098- Hypotheses on PMP steps might not be from the correct PMP type

This fix addresses an issue where the hypotheses in the PMP custom screen are not filtered by PMP Type, causing the dropdown to show options from both Academic and Behavior PMPs.

FOCUS-37883- Caseload & Services - Set Service Date to Today by default

On the Caseload and Groups tabs of Caseload & Services, this branch changes the Service Date to only being required upon form submission. If left blank, it will automatically default to the date of submission (today). If a service date is input, it will use that date and validate it. These changes should also fix any instances of a '12/31/1969' Service Date. This fix also includes a slight speed improvement to the initial page load. NOTE: If the User already has a Template with a Service Date saved, they will need to delete that Service Date value from the Template to enable the automatic use of today's date.
