This problem occurred specifically when the filter included letter grades with plus signs (e.g., C+, D+). With this update, the report now correctly saves and reflects the updated instance when using these filters.

FOCUS-47729- Scheduling: Respect Edit Rights with Individual Course Field Permissions in Master Schedule Report

This update resolves a permission issue on the Master Schedule Report for customers using scheduling course field permissions. Previously, users with view-only permissions to specific course elements could still interact with restricted fields. With this update, if the system preference "Individual Course Field Permissions" is enabled and a profile has view-only access to certain course elements, they will now only be able to view those elements on the Master Schedule Report, ensuring that edit restrictions are properly enforced.

FOCUS-47728- Gradebook: Error When Exceeding Max Points per Assignment

This update resolves an issue in the Gradebook related to system preferences for maximum and minimum assignment grades. Previously, when the maximum extra credit preference was enabled, entering a grade that exceeded the limit did not trigger an error message. With this update, an error now correctly appears at the bottom when the maximum extra credit is exceeded, ensuring proper validation.

FOCUS-47715- Custom Fields: Update Form Log Entries Being Removed

This update resolves an issue in Student Info when updating information within a Form Category. Previously, when editing a log entry inside a form, the row would gray out and then disappear upon saving. With this update, the log entry remains visible after saving, ensuring proper functionality.

FOCUS-47680- Third Party Systems: Performance Improvement to API - GET /students

This update improves the performance of Third Party Systems, specifically the grade passback with Canvas, and resolves issues with ClassLink Rostering sync. Previously, performance issues caused validation errors during the process. This update optimizes the pull for student "agents" by improving checks against the students_join_users and user_enrollment tables, enhancing overall efficiency and reliability.

FOCUS-47660- Communication Platform: Prevent Changing Files After Scheduled Message is Sent

This update improves the Communication Platform by refining file management for scheduled messages. Previously, users could still edit the attached file even after a one-time scheduled message had been sent. With this update, files can only be edited up until the message is sent. Once the message has been sent, users can only download the file, with no option to delete or add a new one, ensuring message integrity after delivery.

FOCUS-47659- Request Grade Change: Don't Require a Status Explanation for User Programs

This update resolves an issue in Teacher Programs > Request Grade Change where administrators encountered the error "Please enter a status explanation" when submitting a grade change request on behalf of a teacher. This error prevented the process from being completed. With this update, administrators can now successfully submit grade change requests without encountering this error.

FOCUS-47658- Edit Rules & Workflow: Prevent 'Hide' Edit Rules from Incorrectly Hiding Fields in Form Records

This update resolves an issue with Edit Rules & Workflow using the "Hide" Linked Field action, where visibility changes were incorrectly applied across all form records instead of only the specific record that met the criteria. Previously, if the target field was in the same form category as the criteria field, the system would apply the rule if any record matched the criteria, rather than treating each record as distinct. This caused the target field to be hidden for all records, even those that did not meet the condition. With this update, the "Hide" action now correctly applies only to the specific record that meets the rule's criteria.

FOCUS-47646- Scheduling: Add Filter to Student Request Report, Alternate Course Requests

This feature enhancement adds filtering capabilities to Scheduling > Request Reports when viewing the list of requests by clicking on any of the number of request columns. This improvement allows for easier navigation and more efficient sorting, helping users manage and review requests more effectively.

FOCUS-47628- Third Party Systems: Better Handling of Schedule Term Overrides in API - OneRoster /enrollments

This update improves Third Party Systems by correcting how enrollment end dates are handled for students with a Semester 1 override on a full-year course. Previously, the enrollment end date reflected the course end date instead of the Semester 1 end date. This update adjusts the GET /enrollments logic to reference the schedule.marking_period_id, if set, to accurately determine the schedule's end_date when no explicit value is provided. This ensures more accurate reporting of enrollment periods.

FOCUS-47603- Grades: Standard Report Cards Showing Ungraded Standards

This update resolves an issue with Standard Report Cards where ungraded standards were appearing even when the exclude ungraded standards option was selected. Previously, if a student had a grade for a course in a previous marking period (e.g., Q1), the course and its standards were not removed from the report, even if no grades existed for the selected marking period. With this update, the system now checks whether the student has a grade for a standard within the course for the marking period specified in the marking period from which to pull data dropdown. If a grade exists for that marking period, the course and standards will be displayed. If no grade exists, they will be hidden from the report, ensuring accurate representation of graded standards.

FOCUS-47595- System Preference: Migrate TABE and CASAS Test Intervals from System Preferences to Florida Reports Setup

This update relocates the Scheduling Default System Preferences for "Functioning Levels CASAS" and "Assign Functioning Levels TABE" options. These preferences will no longer appear under SIS System Preferences and have been moved to Florida Reports Setup, as they are specific to Florida State Reporting. This change helps streamline system preferences and improves organization for Florida districts.

FOCUS-47574- Communication - Add grace Period for Student Attendance Alerts

The new Student Attendance Alerts Grace Period preference allows districts to control how long period attendance updates are in the system prior to sending out alerts. Previously and by default with the N/A option, Period Attendance Alerts are generated when Attendance is updated. With this new preference, Districts can set a threshold between 5 and 20 minutes to hold the alert before sending. Daily Attendance Messages will still be generated immediately. This feature aims to alleviate attendance mistakes and corrections from sending immediate alerts to primary contacts.

This update improves the Gradebook by resolving an issue that occurred when editing a category attached to a section. Previously, if an assignment within the category did not have a page, attempting to edit the category could result in an error. With this update, the category now updates as expected, even if some assignments lack associated pages.

FOCUS-47533- Approve Grade Changes: Ensure Custom Columns Display on Admin View

This update ensures that custom grading fields added to a customer's menu include now appear on the Administrator's view of Approve Grade Change Requests. Previously, these custom fields were only visible on the teacher's view, limiting administrative oversight. With this update, administrators can now see the same custom grading fields when reviewing grade change requests.

FOCUS-47511- Form Builder: Improve Custom Footer Visibility in Form Builder Editor

This update improves the Form Builder by resolving an issue where custom footers were not displaying correctly in the form editor. This update resolves an issue in the SSS module where the Hypothesis, Strategy, and Monitoring Tool fields did not display in a locked PMP if a max year was set in SSS Setup. With this update, these fields now display as expected, regardless of the max year setting.
