FOCUS-45059 - Document Management: Improve ID Recognition in Student/Staff File Import
This improvement is specific to customers with the Document Management module. Previously, any digits in a file name were evaluated as potential student/User IDs when uploading a file through Student/Staff File Import. With this update, only numbers separated by spaces or underscores will be considered. For example, a file named "Grade01_Results_Eng_12345.pdf" previously evaluated "01" as a student ID if there was a matching student with an ID of 1. Now, only "12345" will be evaluated as a potential match.

FOCUS-44350 - Address & Contacts: Restore "Edit Primary Residence" Permission Functionality
This update ensures that when the "Edit Primary Residence" permissions are unchecked, end-users can still edit the Student Phone Number and Mailing Address, while being restricted from editing the Primary Address fields. This allows for more granular control over which address information can be modified by users, maintaining the integrity of the primary residence details while still permitting updates to other contact information.
FOCUS-44342 - Communication: Regarding Student for Parent Poll & Signup Responses
This update improves the functionality of polls and sign-ups within the system. The tabs for closed polls and sign-ups are now reordered to appear at the bottom of the list, while open polls and sign-ups display with the most recent at the top. The update also resolves an issue where long questions would overlap with responses, ensuring better readability regardless of window size. Additionally, parents can now select which student to respond for if they have multiple children, with a new student selector available in the poll and sign-up tabs.
FOCUS-44286 - Custom Fields: New Restricted Edit Permission on Logging Fields
This new feature introduces a "Restricted Edit" permission for Logging Fields. This complements the existing "Restricted View" permission. FOCUS-43145 - Address Fields: New "Hidden" Feature on Contact Flags
This update prevents the deletion of Address Fields and Contact Flags once they have been used. Additionally, a new "Hidden" setting has been introduced. See Address Fields for more information.
FOCUS-42656 - Rooms: New Limit Seat Count By Max Seats in Room Feature
This update introduces a new system preference, "Limit Seat Count By Max Seats in Room," designed to enforce room capacity limits when scheduling stacked sections. Located in Setup > System Preferences > Default School Preferences > Scheduling, this option, when enabled, prevents any section from exceeding the room's designated seat capacity.
The room's maximum seat count is set within Setup > School Setup > Rooms > Max Seats in Room. When the preference is active, the total number of students across all sections in a stacked period cannot exceed the room's seat limit. For example, if two sections are scheduled simultaneously in a room with a 25-seat capacity, the system will cap the combined student count at 25, overriding the individual section seat counts to prevent overcrowding.
This update also ensures that the scheduling process respects the "Limit Seat Count By Max Seats in Room" setting. When enabled, the system will not allow seats to be filled beyond the total room capacity. Users will be unable to manually assign students or use the 'Auto Schedule' button to exceed the room's maximum seat count. However, if the "Override Seat Count" option is selected, the system preference will be bypassed, allowing students to be scheduled into the room beyond the set maximum.
See System Preferences > Scheduling tab, Rooms, and Run Scheduler for more information.

FOCUS-45027- SSS: Do Not Filter on PMP Content Area if None are Selected
In the SSS module, prior to this update, if no Content Area was selected, the strategies, hypotheses, and monitoring tools dropdowns remained empty due to filtering based on the Content Area. With this update, if no Content Area is selected, the dropdowns will now display all available options based on the other required filters. This ensures that users can proceed without needing to select a Content Area.

FOCUS-44688- SSS: Improves to Step Validation when Selections are Changed in Forms
This update to the SSS module addresses an issue where users could not save a form after removing a required response from a previously completed step. Previously, a static message prevented saving with no option to proceed. With this update, the message is replaced with a pop-up similar to incomplete steps, asking if you'd like to save the form as a draft. If saved as a draft, the form reverts to incomplete, and a draft message appears at the top.
FOCUS-44675- Postsecondary: Resolve Section Dropdown in Teacher Programs, Student Reauthorization
