FOCUS-43399- Communication Platform: Resolve Call Window Format

Previously, in the Communication Platform, if the call window was set for a time in the 12: 00 am hour, it would be incorrectly recognized as 12:00 pm, causing messages to be delayed until after noon. With this update, the call window is now correctly recognized as 12:00 am, ensuring messages are sent out at the intended time.

FOCUS-43373- Communication Platform: Refine All Schools Access in Staff Dropdown when Excluded Schools Used

Previously, if an organization leveraged "Excluded Schools" in the Communication Platform, users with no schools selected on their profile would not appear in the staff dropdown. With this update, these users will now appear in the staff dropdown, but only for other users with access to all schools. All schools is defined as an end-user with no schools selected in their enrollment permissions.

FOCUS-43369- Communication Platform: Improve Staff Insert Field Generation

Previously, if an end-user sent a message through the Communication Platform to a user at a school that was not the school selected in the session, the insert fields in the template would not populate as expected. With this update, the fields will now populate correctly regardless of the user's school in relation to the selected school in the top right corner.

FOCUS-43349- Student & User Groups: Add School Filter to Dropdown

This update adds support for the School Filter feature in the school dropdowns within Student and User Groups, enhancing the ability to filter and select specific schools more efficiently.

FOCUS-43339- Transcripts: Additional Options Missing (Group by Texas)

Previously, when grouping by Texas in the Transcripts options, the "Combine Semesters" checkbox, "Course Rows Per Page" dropdown, and "By Marking Period" checkbox were not visible for selection by the end user. This issue has been corrected, and these options are now properly displayed and available for selection.

FOCUS-43314- Course Catalog: Resolve Export Overwriting Schedule/Grades with Null Values

Previously, when pushing a column down from the course catalog, a null value in the Course Catalog would replace an existing value set at the school level. With this update, if a value is set at the school level and the corresponding field in the Course Catalog is null, the school-level value will remain unchanged when the field is pushed down from the Course Catalog.

FOCUS-43308- Communication Platform: Add Message Button to Student Enrollment Add/Drop Report

This update adds a "Send Message" button to the Student Enrollment Add/Drop Report. This feature allows users to send messages through the Communication Platform to students.

This update resolves an issue in the Find-My-School utility where logic errors were causing record duplication and exceeding memory limits. The fix ensures efficient processing without creating duplicate records or surpassing memory capacity.

FOCUS-43300- Document Management: Improve Redacting & Exporting

This update resolves two issues in Document Management. First, exporting a file previously resulted in its deletion, causing an error when attempting to view it again. With this update, files are no longer deleted after export. Second, students without a social security number experienced random redactions in documents. This issue has also been corrected, ensuring documents display correctly.

FOCUS-43269- Kiosk: Introduce Support for Duo MFA

This update resolves an issue with Kiosk devices that prevented users from logging in to /kiosk when Duo MFA was enabled. With this fix, users can now successfully log in to Kiosk devices even with Duo MFA enabled.

FOCUS-43267- Communication Platform: Improve True/False and Reaction Answer Choices in Polls

This update addresses an issue in the Communication Platform Polls. Previously, if a true/false or reaction question was added to a template starting from the second question onward, the possible answers would be duplicated. This update resolves the issue, ensuring that the options are no longer doubled. Note that Communication Platform Polls is a feature available for customers with the Communication Platform Expansion.

FOCUS-43231- Online Application: Resolve Addresses & Contacts Not Saving

Previously, when filling out an application, there were instances where the Contacts or Addresses would not save for the student. This occurred if users pressed "Next Page" before completing the required fields, then returned to fill in those fields. One issue was that the save button for the form would not become enabled. Additionally, pressing "Next Page" allowed navigation to the next page without saving the forms. This update resolves these issues, ensuring that required fields must be completed and saved before proceeding.

FOCUS-43220- Graduation Requirement Report: Add A+ Scholarship Program to Student List View (Missouri)

This update includes an improvement for customers in Missouri. The Graduation Requirements Report Student List View now includes information on the A+ Scholarship program, providing a comprehensive overview for eligible students.

FOCUS-43179- Kiosk: Leverage System Preference Default Attendance Code over Teacher Default

When checking in a student via Kiosk, if both the Threshold and Gap preferences are off, the system previously defaulted to using the code set for teachers in Attendance Setup instead of the Default Kiosk Check-In code. This update changes the behavior to use the Default Kiosk Check-In code for student check-ins, ensuring consistency with Kiosk preferences.

FOCUS-43171- Master Schedule Builder: Remove Followup & Room Options for Mass Update

This update removes the Followup and Room columns from the mass update feature in the Master Schedule Builder. Since these two columns depend on the selected course and the options for each row may vary, removing them from mass update prevents potential errors and ensures data accuracy.

FOCUS-43170- Portal: Improve Accuracy of Grade Change Request Portal Alert

This update addresses an issue where users receive an alert stating "There are x pending grade change requests," but upon clicking the alert, no pending requests are found. This fix ensures that the alert accurately reflects the actual number of pending grade change requests that need approval or denial.

FOCUS-42968- Graduation Requirements Report: Improve Biliteracy Seal Logic (Florida)

The logic for the Biliteracy Seal in the Graduation Requirements Report was previously not correctly referencing the Student Field Portfolio Options for the silver seal. This update resolves those logic issues, ensuring that the Biliteracy Seal now populates correctly based on the portfolio options. This fix is specific to customers in Florida.

FOCUS-42944- Attendance: New Hourly Attendance Schedule Preference (Postsecondary)

This enhancement introduces a new system preference called "Period or Hourly Attendance" that allows postsecondary schools to enable sections with both period attendance and hourly attendance at the same site. Previously, this capability was managed through school-level permissions. This new preference provides greater flexibility and control over attendance tracking methods at the institutional level.

FOCUS-42934- Communication Platform: Polls & Sign Ups Translations

Polls and Sign-Ups viewed within the Communication Inbox now feature a "View Original" button, similar to other translated message components. Users can toggle the entire poll/sign-up between the original and translated languages by clicking this button. For an automated translation of a poll or sign-up to be created and available, the recipient must have their language preference set to the desired language when the Communication Queue scheduled job runs after the poll has been sent. Note that Communication Platform Polls & Sign-Ups is a feature available for customers with the Communication Platform Expansion.

FOCUS-42774- Course Catalog: Correct course_periods.does_grades Data from Course Catalog

This update addresses a bad data issue in the 'does_grades' column of the 'course_periods' table, which occurred due to changes in the Course Catalog. Previously, 'Y' was used for YES and NULL for NO, but it was changed to 1 for YES and 0 for NO, causing inconsistencies. This branch introduces a migration to correct the existing data and updates the column to properly reflect the intended values.

FOCUS-42400- Test History: Add Index to Test History Scores

This update introduces an index to Test History Scores, aimed at preventing the occurrence of duplicate entries that can arise during data importation. Additionally, the branch includes a migration process designed to identify and remove existing duplicate records that share the same score and administration ID, ensuring data integrity and consistency within the Test History Scores.

FOCUS-42333- Online Application: Support Select Options Query in Application

This update resolves an issue with the option query that depends on fields within the online application. This branch ensures that these fields are updated correctly, allowing the option query to populate the select options as expected.

FOCUS-41635- Student Groups: Respect School Permissions when Viewing

This update corrects an issue in Student Groups where end-users could see students outside of their school permissions when viewing Student Groups and clicking the View button. Now, users will only see students within their designated school permissions.

FOCUS-43260- SSS: IEP Progress Report Progress Code

Previously, if data existed in a marking period for a different year, it would incorrectly appear on the IEP Goals Progress Report. This update ensures that only data from the current marking period is displayed, preventing information from other years from showing up on the report. Although it is unclear how data was assigned to incorrect marking periods, this issue was potentially set up via a query on other sites.

FOCUS-43184- SSS: Improve Printing Schedule of Services

Previously, if the Schedule of Services step in an IEP 2.0 Event was too long to fit on a single page, printing would get stuck in a loop, freezing the browser tab. With this update, users can print the IEP 2.0 Event without freezing the tab, even if the Schedule of Services step is very long. Additionally, an issue with custom screens in IEP/IEP 2.0/Amended IEP events caused overlapping data due to insufficient page breaks. This update ensures that only one page break occurs per printed custom screen, preventing data from overlapping.

FOCUS-43165- Form Builder: Correct Field Values Display on Pending Approval

This update improves the Form Builder by fixing an issue where the Form Pending Approval tab did not display the values of some form fields, even when the "Include in Pending Approvals" option was enabled for those fields. Now, all designated fields will correctly display their values in the Form Pending Approval tab.
