FOCUS-43722- Communication Platform: Student Daily Attendance Alerts Limit to Schools with Period Attendance Today

Previously, if a dual-enrolled student had attendance taken at their second school, the daily code message would be sent from their primary school. With this update, the Communication Platform now requires a period attendance record at the school sending the message for the message to be sent. This ensures that attendance messages are accurately sent based on the student's location.

FOCUS-43705- Community Mobile App: Resolve Error Viewing Report Cards

This update resolves an error that occurred when viewing Report Cards on the Community Mobile App. Previously, if the template or report card settings required the user Marking Period from the session, this value was not carried over to the Mobile App, causing an error. With this update, report cards can now be viewed on the Mobile App without issue.

FOCUS-43699- Third Party Systems: Add Student Fields to /users Endpoint (OneRoster)

This update enhances the OneRoster API by ensuring that student custom fields are now pulled for the '/users' endpoint. Previously, these custom fields only appeared in the '/demographics' endpoint. With this update, student custom fields can be captured in both endpoints.

FOCUS-43674- Delete a Student: Add New 'Photo' Option when Merging Students

This update adds a new photo option to the Delete a Student process when merging two students. Users can now choose to bring over the photo of the student being merged or override the photo of the student being kept. This provides greater flexibility in managing student records.

FOCUS-43662- Online Application: Resolve Address Catalog Matching Based on Application School Year

This update resolves an issue with the Online Application where address suggestions, when using the Address Catalog, were not considering the applicable school year addresses based on the selection made in the Application School Year system field. The address suggestions now correctly reflect the selected school year.

FOCUS-43655- *Multilingual report cards - If language field is not set it copies the previous student

Previously, when printing multilingual report cards for multiple students, a student without a value set in the default language field would have their report card printed in the language of another student. This update ensures that each student's report card is printed in their respective default language, or in a default language if not set, preventing any language mismatches.

FOCUS-43633- Graduation Requirements Scheduled Courses Overwriting Graded

This update resolves an issue with the Graduation Requirements Report during Semester 2, where it incorrectly applied a 0.5 credit grade before a 0.5 credit enrolled course of the same graduation subject when a failed grade that affects GPA existed for the same graduation subject. The report now correctly prioritizes enrolled courses and grades.

FOCUS-43623- School Choice: Add Recipient Email in Letter Log when Generating Print Letters

With this update, when generating Choice Letters via Print Letters and sending them to Linked Users, the recipient's email will now be populated in the Letter Log entry.

FOCUS-43610- Graduation Requirements Report: Resolve Recognizing Waivers for Met Status (Florida)

This update corrects an issue where the Graduation Met indicator in the Graduation Requirements Report was not being set if the custom_200000206 Waive Reading and Math requirement was set to Algebra I. With this fix, the Graduation Met indicator will now be correctly set in this scenario.

FOCUS-43542- Student Schedule New Lock All Feature

This enhancement adds a new "Lock All" feature to the Student Schedule. End-users can now easily lock the entire student's schedule without having to individually mark each class.

FOCUS-43482- Graduation Requirements Report: Improve Display of Waivers

This update resolves an issue where marching band and dance waivers were showing up twice on the Graduation Requirements Report. The problem occurred in a specific scenario where the system preference for personal fitness was off, and the dropdown was populated with an existing personal fitness grad subject, causing the waivers to double up. This update ensures that waivers no longer appear twice.

FOCUS-43471- Communication Platform: Display Translated Messages on Communications Report

This update improves Communication Reports for clients using translations. Now, if a translated message is sent out via TTS, SMS, or email, the translation will appear in the Communication Report. The Communication Report has been updated to display translated messages when clicking on the Recipient link. It will show individual translations for each student and parent. Clicking on the message link opens the message with a 'View Original' button. When clicked, the English version of the message will display.

FOCUS-43461- Communication Settings: Display Correct 12-Hour Period for Time Fields

Previously, entering a start or end time between 1:00am and 6:59am on the settings page in the Communication Platform (attendance or integrations) would convert the time to PM after refreshing the page. This update ensures that the time remains as set. Additionally, times entered with a leading zero (e.g., 01:00 to 07:00) are now correctly recognized as AM instead of converting to PM upon tabbing out. These changes apply to all time entry fields within the platform.

FOCUS-43431- *Advanced Reports: Improve Graduation Requirement Select-Multiple Program Fields

This update improves the display of Graduation Requirements, particularly those tied to more than one program, on Student Advanced Reports. Please note that due to this change, any letterhead templates or letter templates that include Insert Fields containing Graduation Requirements based on select-multiple will need to be re-tied and saved to ensure proper generation when printing.

FOCUS-43310- Discipline: New Preference "Discipline Referral Count Codes"

This feature enhancement adds a new System Preference called "Discipline Referrals Count Codes." This preference allows users to choose the codes that will count Discipline Referrals across school years. When selected, offenses are tallied for students in the Discipline Module across different schools and school years.

FOCUS-43193- FLShots: Add New Student Immunization Identifier

This enhancement adds a new system field called "State Immunization Identifier," which will be associated with the Immunization Student Category if one exists. When utilized, this unique ID can serve as an alternative to the student's social security number for uniquely identifying students when importing immunization records with FLShots.

FOCUS-42710- Master Schedule Report : Teacher History

This update addresses an issue where users were able to change the teacher of a section from the Master Schedule Report without creating a 'course_teacher_history' record, even when the 'do not log history' button was unchecked. Previously, changing the teacher of a section would trigger an automatic save, regardless of whether the user clicked 'done' on the teacher history popup modal. This allowed users to change a teacher, and if they clicked the 'x' or outside the modal, the change would not be logged in the teacher history. With this update, modifying the teacher of a section will not automatically save the datatable. The change will only be saved if the user clicks 'done' on the teacher history popup modal. This ensures that all teacher changes are properly logged in the teacher history.

Previously, when mass printing the IEP Goals Progress Report, the teacher's name would display on the first page, but the rest of the PDF file would be blank. With this update, mass printing the IEP Goals Progress Report now works as expected. The entire PDF file, including graphs, loads and prints correctly.

FOCUS-43686- SSS: Restrict Search Results to Selected Provider in Caseload & Services, Service History

Previously, the SSS Caseload & Services Service History search results were not restricted to the selected Provider. With this update, the Service History search results are now correctly restricted to the selected Provider as expected.

FOCUS-43562- SSS: New Event Set Up Options (Missouri Accommodations)

This update adds two new tabs in SSS > Setup: Accommodations Location and Accommodations Frequency. The Accommodations Location tab includes columns for Focus ID, ID, Title, Sort Order, and an Active checkbox. Similarly, the Accommodations Frequency tab contains columns for Focus ID, ID, Title, Sort Order, and an Active checkbox. These tabs link to the custom Accommodations screen in the IEP Event while maintaining the current default options. Additionally, the Determination of Need and Other Accommodations tables in the IEP will now reflect the options set up in these new tabs. The Location field will remain a Multiple Select, and the Frequency field will remain a Select One.

FOCUS-43501- SSS: Goals & Objectives Improvements for Missouri

This update makes the following changes to the Goals & Objectives for Missouri:

- Removes the "Responsible Implementers" and "Service Type" dropdowns.

- Removes the "Responsible Implementers" dropdown from the create/edit goals screen.

- Adds a free text area titled "Baseline" above the goal categories.

FOCUS-43354- SSS: Resolve Display of Service History on Caseload & Services

Previously, if a student was enrolled in School A and a draft service was created, then the student dropped from School A and enrolled in School B, and the draft service was submitted at School B, the Service History records would not appear for that student. With this update, Service History records now appear as expected for students who switch schools. Additionally, the student ID is now displayed next to the student name in the dropdown on both the Caseload and Services screens.
