Alerts

The Alerts screen displays alerts that have been generated specifically for you or for your profile. Alerts can be triggered by a particular form in an event being saved or by a particular value being selected on a field within a form. You may also receive a notification email for an alert. Alert triggers are set up in SSS > Setup > Alert Triggers tab. Event triggers set up in SSS > Setup > Event Triggers may also generate alerts.

Viewing and Deleting Alerts

1. On the Portal screen, click the SSS alert notification.

Alternatively, in the menu, click SSS. Then click Alerts.

Alerts that have been generated for you or for your user profile are listed. The Sender column displays the name of the person who initiated the event. The School column displays the school where the event was initiated. The Message column describes the event and/or form that requires your attention. The student may be identified by ID number only within the message. Additional information or instructions may have been added to the message by the district. The Date Sent column displays the date the alert was triggered.

2. Click the link in the message to open the event or form for the student.

3. To delete an alert, click Delete.
