The Release Transfer screen allows users to release fixed assets that have been transfered via Fixed Assets > Transfer Requests so they can be received via Fixed Assets > Receive Transfer. This step in the process allows administrative users to review transfer requests before they are officially transferred to a facility.
1. From the Fixed Assets menu, click Release Transfer.
2. Select the applicable fiscal year from the pull-down. The pull-down defaults to the current but can be changed as needed.
All approved transfer requests display on the Release Transfers tab.
3. Review the fixed asset information including the Barcode, Destination facility, the original Facility, Description, Manufacturer, Model Number, Serial Number, and Net Current Worth.
4. Select the check boxes for the applicable transfer requests to release the request and have the item transferred.
Click Check All to select all check boxes at once.
5. Click Release Selected to complete the process.
Once released, the transfer request is removed from the Release Transfer tab and displays on the Release History tab.

3. Select the applicable fiscal year from the pull-down. The pull-down defaults to the current but can be changed as needed.
The Release History tab displays all transfer requests that have been approved and released for transfer including the Barcode, Destination facility, original Facility, Description, Manufacturer, Model Number, Serial Number, Net Current Value, and the Release Date.
If there are multiple pages of data, click the Prev and Next buttons to sift through pages. You can also enter a number in the Page text box to jump to a page.
Click the Excel icon to export the table of data to an Excel spreadsheet downloaded to your computer.
Click the Printer icon to print the table of data.
Click the Filters button to filter data and apply filter rules.
a. To add more than one filter to a column, click on th e reen plus sign.
b. To delete an added filter, click on the red minus sign.
c. Select the gray arrow for additional filtering rules.

You can also sort data by clicking on any of the headers. Click once for ascending results; click twice for descending results.
