The Pick List serves as an organizational tool to coordinate deliveries of Item Orders, Courier Requests, and Maintenance/Custodial Requests that have been created in the Focus Warehouse Module. Individual delivery drivers are able to add items to their task list that are assigned within their routes. Driver Routes are setup via Warehouse > Manage Routes.

Creating a New Pick List

The Manage Pick Lists tab allows users to configure new or existing Pick Lists and manage their contents.

1. From the Warehouse menu, click Pick List.

2. The Pick List screen defaults to the Manage Pick Lists tab.

3. Select the Route from the pull-down.

Pick List

4. Enter the Pick List Name in the provided text box.

5. Edit the Pick List Date, as needed. The Pick List Date defaults to the current date.

6. Click Create.

7. From the View Pick List tab, click Add Items.

8. Select the check box to add the item to the pick list from the applicable sections, such as an item from the Courir Requests Pick Up section.

Click the check box in the header to select all items listed.

9. Click Include facilities not on route to view courier requests, item returns, and custodial requests that aren't on the route assigned to the pick list, in this case, the South Route.

a. Click Hide facilities not on route to hide all requests not on the selected route.

10. Click Add Items to add the selected items to the pick list.

11. Click Print Pick List to print the pick list.

a. Click the Print icon to print the pick list.

b. Click the white X to close the print preview window.

12. Click Delivery Signature to enter the Barcode of the item picked up or delivered and sign for it.

a. Enter the Barcode in the text box.

b. To electronically sign for the item, click Click to Sign.

i. Use the computer mouse to sign for the item. Click Sign to save it.

ii. Click Cancel to cancel your signature and close the pop-up. Click Clear to clear the signature and start over.

c. Click Save.

13. To mark an item as complete, select the item check box and click Save.

The Status of the item updates from Pending to Completed once saved.

14. As indicated in the Files section, drag files directly into the box to attach documents or click Select to browse for files. There is also a Scan File button next to the Select button for direct scanning. Click Scan File to download Dynamsoft. This is a one-time download that allows you to attach files directly from your scanner. In doing so, you will bypass saving the file to your computer first.

15. To add a comment, type the comment in the provided text box. Then, click Post.

Splitting a Pickup and Delivery Between Multiple Drivers

1. From the Warehouse menu, click Pick List.

2. The Pick List screen defaults to the Manage Pick Lists tab.

3. Select the Route from the pull-down.

4. Enter the Pick List Name in the provided text box.

5. Edit the Pick List Date, as needed. The Pick List Date defaults to the current date.

6. Click Create.

7. From the View Pick List tab, click Add Items. Add the same item to both pick lists created, the Pickup List and the Delivery List.

8. Select the check box to add the item to the pick list from the applicable sections, such as an item from the Courir Requests Pick Up section.

9. Click Add Items to add the selected items to the pick list. Be sure to repeat the process of adding items for both pick lists.

10. Click Print Pick List to print the pick list.

The printed Pickup List displays information about transferring the item to the next driver in the Delivery Campus column while the Delivery List displays information about transferring the item from the pickup driver.

Viewing, Editing, and Completing Existing Pick Lists

The Manage Pick Lists tab allows users to configure new or existing Pick Lists and manage their contents.

1. From the Warehouse menu, click Pick List.

2. The Pick List screen defaults to the Manage Pick Lists tab.

3. The All Pick Lists section displays the Name if the pick list, the Date, Route, Priority, Pickup Facility, Delivery Facility, Driver, Line Item Count, Item Quantity Total, Completed indicator, and Printed indicator.

4. Click Show Completed Pick Lists to display pick lists that have been completed.

a. Completed pick lists display. Click Hide Completed Pick Lists to hide the completed pick lists again.

5. Click the applicable fields to edit the pick list basics, such as the Name, Date, or Route.

6. To delete a pick list, click the delete button (red minus sign).

7. Click View to open the pick list.

8. From the View Pick List tab, click Add Items.

My Pick Lists

The My Pick Lists tab displays any list to which the user is assigned. Non-drivers will use the Manage Pick Lists tab to review pick lists.

4. From the View Pick List tab, click Add Items.

Pickers

The Pickers tab displays approved unpicked warehouse purchase orders including the PO #, Item #, Description, Deliver To (Facility), Line Quantity of items, Unpicked Quantity, and the Picker (pull-down of available pickers established via Warehouse > Manage Routes.

1. From the Warehouse menu, click Pick List.

2. Click the Pickers tab.

3. Review the information including the PO #, Item #, Description, Deliver To, Line Quantity, Unpicked Quantity, and the Picker.

4. Click the PO # to open the purchase order and view the original information.

5. Select the applicable Picker from the pull-down.

6. From the Pickers pop-up window, enter the Barcode and the Pick Quantity in the provided text boxes.

7. Click Save.

Additional Features

Click Toggle Columns to customize the columns displays in data tables.

a. To hide specific columns from the data table, clear the selected check box next to the column title.

If a column is hidden from the data table, the column will not display until it is added back via Toggle Columns by selecting the check box.

Use the Filter text box located in select pull-downs to quickly find a selection. Begin typing the name or number of the data in question in the Filter text box to pull it to the beginning of the list.

Click the Filters button to filter data and apply filter rules.

a. To add more than one filter to a column, click on the green plus sign.

b. To delete an added filter, click on the red minus sign.

c. Select the gray arrow for additional filtering rules.

You can also sort data by clicking on any of the headers. Click once for ascending results; click twice for descending results.
