The Modify Programs screen is loaded during implementation but schools can locally maintain the data. The Modify Programs table is year specific and is a part of the post secondary rollover options. The data entered here determines the available programs within the More Search Options pull-downs and includes required data necessary for IPEDS reporting and the Financial Aid worksheet. The Programs entered here links to Programs created via Scheduling > Courses & Sections. This screen also drives the Programs that are available for review through the SAP report.
1. In the Scheduling menu, click Modify Programs.
Modify Program is also accessible from the Billing menu upon viewing a post secondary school.
The Modify Programs screen displays the Program Title, CIP, Program Number, TABE Math Min, TABE Reading Min, TABE Language Min, CASAS Goals Math Min, CASAS Goals Reading Min, Program Hours, Program Weeks, (Resident) Tuition/Fees, (Non-Resident) Tuition/Fees, Books/Supplies, and Active.
The following columns display when the Check Level on Basic Skills Assessment setting is enabled via Setup > System Preferences > School Preferences/Default School Preferences > Scheduling tab: TABE Math Level, TABE Reading Level, TABE Language Level, CASAS Goals Math Level, and CASAS Goals Reading Level.
The Use TABE language or reading to set Basic Skills setting (enabled via Setup > System Preferences > Default School Preferences > Scheduling tab) allows districts to combine the Math requirement and use the preference to pick Reading or Language from the pull-down in order to satisfy the basic skills requirement. This preference is used in conjunction with Modify Programs where you set TABE minimum scores for Math, Reading, and Language. Running the Basic Skills scheduled job will check the new preference, student's schedule record, and TABE test scores to determine the value to be set on Basic Skills Exam (schedule.custom_31).
